A priest of the Diocese of Elphin. He was previously Chairperson of the Catholic Schools’ Partnership (CSP), a body providing support to all Catholic schools in Ireland.
The CSP has a Council of thirty-three members representative of all the stakeholders in Catholic schools. This Council is charged with implementing a strategy that will achieve the aims of the CSP. Thus it is an umbrella body providing strategic thinking on the major issues facing Catholic schools
He is the author of several books and articles on sacramental theology and works part-time in the parish of Esker/ Dodsboro/Adamstown in Dublin..
